Shooting with Shanda was like shooting with an old friend. In high school I was into all things Drama (not gossipy drama, we’re talking theater drama), and so was Shanda! We talked a bit about musicals and what kind of vocal ranges we had (Shanda’s MUCH better than me, there’s a reason I’m a photographer). We went over her first date with her fiancé, Mike, and how he proposed, which was amaaaazing by the way. And though it was way cloudy and there were slight hints of rain, we were able to shoot outside on the grounds for a while before heading inside. And really, the intensity of clouds made some great shots in front of the temple.
Shanda was a gorgeous princess, so we made sure to play up that aspect. You’ll notice we totally did a Cinderella shot, complete with the pretty, dainty shoe on the stairs. And you’ll also notice in some shots that Shanda has the cutest satin kid gloves on. Now to be honest, normally I’m not a huge fan of kid gloves, but Shanda knew how to work them! She converted me. I hope you enjoy some of these highlights from her bridals. I wish I could post them all, but there were… a lot.
